Camping in Florida has so much to offer. You can choose from a wide variety of Florida state campgrounds offering fun, nature, fishing, kayaking, hunting or diving/snorkeling. You can choose to camp at the Florida beach or in one the Florida state parks. There is one thing for sure, Florida camping leads to a relaxing expedition and a lot of fun in the Florida sunshine.
About 55 of the 160 Florida state parks offer campsites for tents or recreational vehicles. Nineteen parks have cabins. The Lodge at Wakulla Springs is the only lodge available in a state park. Two state parks – Grayton Beach and Silver River State Park – have two-bedroom cottages and cabins available. Check here for state park entrance fees.
